Damage Over Time - The New EP from dot.darkness

We're a Band or Something

dot.darkness is pronounced dot-dot-darkness. This duo became a "thing" in Nashville, TN when rock ninja Colin Hemphill and electronic wizard Josh Sheehy [Retroskeptic] teamed up. Influenced by the sounds of classic video games, metalicious guitars, 80's synthpop, modern electronic, modems, car alarms, gunshots, and paper shredders, we just make music we want to make. We don't really know what it is, but others have caught on to the sensation.

In 2011, shortly after the release of Portal 2, dot.darkness performed a cover of "The Future Soon" by Jonathan Coulton. JoCo was gracious enough totweet our coverto his Internet fandom. In February of 2013, we did a cover of Feed Me's new track "Death By Robot", which subsequently receieved asimilar postfrom Mr. Jon Gooch himself. Having played the cover song game for long enough, dot.darkness released the original EP:Damage Over Timeon February 14, 2014.
